Greetings from Turkey

Greetings from Turkey
Posted 05-29-2007 2:26 am by Admin Admin
I'm writing this in a cafe in the city of Antalya, on the southern coast of Turkey.

I'm in the middle of a two week trip on a gulet, a Turkish sailing yacht.  The trip is focused on the numerous ancient ruins in the area, and run by Peter Sommer, a British archeologist (www.petersommer.com).  Some friends decided to celebrate their 10 year anniversary by putting together a group to do this trip so even though the timing of the trip isn't great given that this is the start of the busy season in the Pacific Northwest, it was too good an opportunity to turn down.  Turkey is truly an amazing place and I'm so glad to get a chance to travel here.  I'll write more about the trip when I return.

I have been able to be on email every 3-4 days and hope to continue to be able to do so.  I apologize for any delay in responding to your email inquiry.
