Upcoming research trip to Northern CA coast

Greetings! I'm in the process of planning a research trip to the Northern California Coast.
Every year, I get at least 2-3 requests from clients who want to drive the coast one way between San Francisco and Portland or Seattle. I've been able to assist them from the CA/OR border north based on personal experience and knowledge but it's been a bit of guess work south of the CA/OR border, so I'm planning on changing that this year and expanding my territory to include the Northern California Coast. I'll be leaving on a 10 day research trip in late March, most of which will be spent on the coast between San Francisco and the OR border. I've got a long list of great-sounding places to check out but would love to hear suggestions from readers, especially for the Mendocino area which just seems to have so many wonderful choices. Sheri
